buying a jewel makes us proud

missing the priceless sunrise

tucked inside cushions with burger & fries

feeling so sick in dust

cosmetic layers being a must

unknowing of our ambition & dream

following the money flow downstream

alive - are we?

doing nothing for a healthy life

chopping our days with a knife

ignoring our early Yoga session

we are more fearful of a financial recession

it's time we ask Questions:

how sweet will be life to a diabetic

how possessive will be wealth to a paralytic

how cool will be AC to a patient on ventilator

how much will be enough - to live a life much greater..

Masking up the Face,

Keeping up the Pace;

Competing the Race,

Playing up the Maze...

World today - pushing to bounce Back,

Slow - but yes - moving off the Rack;

While the Will takes over the Fear,

Each one needs to mind their Gear...

Challenging the Times,

Writing the Rhymes;

It's time to hold each other,

To step up ahead further...

It's a fall to climb back Upon,

A new beginning - A new life Born;

It's high time we respect Nature,

Not only the money earned & Stature...

While we underwent LockDown:

Rivers - continued to flow

Plants - continued to grow

Farmers - continued to sow

Sun - continued to shine

Life - yours & mine

Is quite Precious - to undermine...

Wait, let’s ask, which direction Bro?

Do we just Need More Money,

Or we only do it to Impress our Honey;

Do we merely wish to Hold a “Status”,

Or we do it for the Sake of Parents, Not to Hate Us…

Are we running a Race with No Finish,

Or we do it for our Insecurity to Diminish;

Are we just Following the Crowd,

Or we only aspire to make our Family Proud…

In School, in College, or whether, in a Premier Management Institute,

Did we choose a Direction, a Dream or a Substitute;

In Office, in Bed, or perhaps, during a short Vacation Instead,

Did we ponder on the thought, “Well, we are Growing, but which Direction do we Wish to Head…”

What is Our Ultimate Goal,

Being a Billionaire Leader or a Spiritual Soul…

Being an Avid Traveller or an Enlightened Yog Guru,

Being an Artisan in Inbe (Japan) or a Tour Guide in Churu (India);

Being an Archaeologist in Sindh or a Scuba Dive Trainer in Malaysia,

Being an Engineer in Ottawa or a Doctor in Croatia…

Where Do We Wish To Be,

Flying Over the Sky or Diving Under the Sea…

It’s time, we realize the Larger Universe Around,

Time to see beyond, the 10 x 10 feet compartments we Have Found;

It’s time, that we Realign our Focus,

Time to Question the Existing, Rediscover & Redefine Our Locus…

Let Us Gift a Direction to Our Growth…

Repair the Trend...

The trends that we wear,

The friends that we care;

The things very rare,

We think before we tear...

All the money that we own,

Each of our muscle & our bone;

The blood within that flows,

The fact that each of us knows;

Is here not to stay,

Will soon vanish in some way;

Few may sustain a bit longer,

The ones a bit stronger...

So eager are we to dream of things,

So high up we want to fly without wings;

So soon do we forget what we got,

So early do we think of next what not...

A thing or two we use,

We love them & also abuse;

With us does it run for a while,

Someday it suddenly stops with a smile...

Most often we do think to get the new,

Quite rare do we wish to renew;

Is there anything money can't buy,

We have enough to spend than to wait why...

No we are busy to check our phone,

Having a thousand friends we are still alone;

We have so many to click that like,

No we can’t even run without wearing a nike...

Can we not think before we dispose,

Can we fix it suppose;

Can we not invest sometime to repair,

Like the relationships we fight but still care...

It's time to think before we throw,

Even though we earn riches & we grow;

Can we not step up towards the unknown,

To try & learn things about the worn...

Trust me it would take a day, a week or a month or so,

Will make you learn much beyond what you already know;

Will make you change the way you see things around,

Will teach you the power of attempt you never found...

& then we keep talking about Go Green,

Do we just say or do we actually Mean;
